Fog

ISBN: 978-956-364-076-2
The fog has slipped through the open window of Amalia’s room. The fog is so white and dense that the bedroom has turned into an immense cloud… What will Amalia find inside?
Review
The protagonist is a little girl who perceives the fog entering her room. Textures, scents, and colors are discovered by Amalia, who, through these sensory stimuli, embarks on an oceanic adventure filled with pelicans, cormorants, walking octopuses, and fish with legs and three fins.
The green, blue, and gray tones, enhanced by the materiality of the book, accompany Chirif’s poetic narrative. It perfectly complements the strokes that mimic children’s drawings on walls, doors, and any other surface they encounter along the way. Like a typical child’s drawing that might start on a simple piece of paper and then overflow beyond any boundaries, Amalia’s world keeps expanding, diving into the dark depths of the ocean, where she will discover an immense variety of marine animals.
